Michigan Ice Hockey

Unity, respect, discipline, pride and passion. That’s what it takes to win nine national championships, and that’s what it means to play ice hockey at the University of Michigan. As the Maize and Blue faithful cheer from the stands of Yost Ice Arena, our players skate onto the ice with their teammates by their side. Standing among the men of the U-M hockey team means being relentless – going beyond your best, both on the ice and in the classroom. During their time here, they train at an elite facility and learn from the best coaches in hockey – and, of course, they receive the world-class education and support only a top-ranked university like Michigan can provide. Learn more about the people and traditions that make this program outstanding and see what it is like to be in the Maize and Blue.
