Michigan Ice Hockey

Michigan hockey is about more than just skill on skates. It’s about more than scoring goals or racking up victories. As a Wolverine, we work hard and persevere to become the best student-athlete we can be, but when the lights go up and we step on the ice, it’s all about The Team. We train as one, we compete as one, and we win for Michigan — as one. We respect one another, we respect the program, and we constantly fight for excellence, going beyond our best during every game, knowing that our teammates, coaches and fans have our backs. We strive to be Victors off the ice as well, tirelessly pursuing academic success and volunteering our time for the community. See what championship tradition really looks like.

“There are players on the team from a lot of different places, but during the season, the team is family. It's who we go to battle with every day and who we're going to put it all on the line for. With the tradition of this program there are a lot people that played on the team before us. It raises the expectations and when we play, we are representing alumni that played for Michigan over the years.” Andrew Sinelli, Class of 2015
