University of Michigan Men’s Cross Country Facilities

Whether training indoors or outdoors at the University of Michigan, we enjoy all the resources needed to become a celebrated cross country runner. We put in our miles on the historic Ferry Field track and at the Indoor Track Building, following in the footsteps of legends like Kevin Sullivan, Nate Brannen and Nick Willis. We have the opportunity to explore hilly routes around Ann Arbor, completing our long-distance runs across 123 acres of scenic trails at the University of Michigan’s Nichols Arboretum, just a short jog from central campus. Or our practice runs may lead farther afield, to the strikingly picturesque and challenging practice loop at Michigan’s Radrick Farms Golf Course, several miles to the east. And on the way for the 2018 season, an entirely new look is being built as part of the U-M South Campus renovations, featuring top-end training and medical facilities, championship-caliber venues, new indoor and outdoor tracks and more. When you visit Ann Arbor, you’ll see these exceptional courses and our state-of-the-art facilities for yourself — a place where generations of champions have been made.
