The University of Michigan Varsity Tennis Center

As members of the Michigan men’s tennis team, we spend a lot of time at the Varsity Tennis Center on South Campus. The VTC not only serves as the home for Michigan tennis, but as a nationally competitive state-of-the-art facility, it also frequently hosts national, regional ITA and Big Ten tournaments. Go inside for our locker room, team meeting room, training room and coaches’ offices, and check out the museum highlighting the team’s rich history while you’re there. Eight indoor courts feature indoor lighting strong enough for television coverage, as well as an electronic scoreboard. Outside, we play in front of hundreds of fans, highlighted by an electronic scoreboard against a scenic backdrop. The VTC provides a training and competition environment fit for the Leaders and Best.
