Michigan Men’s Track & Field

University of Michigan men’s track and field is in the business of creating champions, and we’ve got over 100 years of history, 73 Olympic athletes and 46 NCAA champions to prove it. Our student-athletes are a part of that history, following in the footsteps of world record holders and helping to shape the track and field program for future Wolverines. Along the way, we provide an elite coaching staff and cutting-edge training and support, to help bring athletic performance to the next level – but success at Michigan doesn’t stop when they leave the track or step off the field. Here, they have the resources they need to pursue passions in the classroom as well, with dedicated faculty and advisors who’ll work with them to build a rewarding future that extends far beyond their time in Ann Arbor. The University of Michigan is a special place that provides unique opportunities. Learn more about the track and field program, and see why it truly is great to be a Michigan Wolverine.

Team Vision

“The Michigan men’s track and field program expects integrity, leadership, character, discipline and work ethic. We will develop these qualities individually and as a team because they are essential for us to challenge for team championships. Commitment and passion are necessary components to achieve success. All of these things are essential for us to develop into a championship program and for our student-athletes’ preparation for life beyond academic and athletic venues.”
