Softball Facilities at the University of Michigan

As Wolverines, we have access to some of the nation’s premier softball facilities. At game time, we slide into home on world-class Alumni Field, while the alumni pep band and 2,800 fans cheer us on. With an AstroTurf outfield that makes for a consistent playing surface, a state-of-the art video board, and impressive infield and outfield grandstands, it’s hard not to love the home of Michigan softball. During practice, we use the batting cages at the Oosterbaan Fieldhouse and the workout, hydrotherapy and locker room facilities at the Donald R. Shepherd Softball Center to get stronger than ever. Afterward, we can explore Michigan’s rich history in the Shepherd Center’s first floor museum, dedicated to the teams that built U-M’s storied tradition. Michigan’s facilities are some of softball’s best – and they’re where champions are made.
