Michigan Women’s Swimming and Diving

The Team, the Team, the Team – no words can better describe what it means to compete for the women’s swimming and diving team at the University of Michigan. The team always comes first. We train as one, we compete as one, and we win for Michigan — as one. We fully commit to every event, every stroke, every dive, every day, knowing that our teammates and coaches are empowering us to reach beyond for the Maize and Blue. We strive to be Victors outside of the pool as well, tirelessly pursuing academic success and volunteering our time for the community. We wear the Block M proudly, a powerful symbol that we’re all part of something bigger — a part of the Michigan family. See what it’s like to be a part of our team.

“‘The Team’ is not just about being a part of a sports team -- it is about dedicating every ounce of yourself to your teammates to push each other to the limits. Bo said it best -- no man (or woman) is bigger than the team -- and that truly defines the culture for how Michigan teams work and compete together.” Erin Bridgewater, 2014 Team Captain
