The University of Michigan Varsity Tennis Center

As members of the Michigan women’s tennis team, we enjoy playing at the Varsity Tennis Center, a premier and nationally competitive facility with state-of-the-art on-campus training that promises to nurture Michigan tennis players for years to come. It hosts some of the most prestigious intercollegiate events, including national and regional ITA championships and Big Ten Championships. The indoor building is the hub of Michigan tennis with our locker room, team meeting room, our coaches’ offices, and even a museum highlighting the team’s history. The clean lines of the reflective ceiling and uniform lighting are textbook examples of indoor court lighting. Outside, we play in front of hundreds of fans, highlighted by an electronic scoreboard against a scenic backdrop of rolling hills and trees. The VTC provides a training and competition environment fit for the Leaders and Best.
